To say that we were lucky (and hence forever grateful) to have discovered Andrea at FIDOHYDRO is an understatement. Bailee, our 6-year old Beagle, ruptured her cruciate ligament and we were recommended hydrotherapy to enhance her recovery post-op. She had extensive muscle wasting, poor strength and was unable to walk long distances or run at all. Andrea’s professionalism and commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for Bailee was obvious during the initial consultation. Bailee had a minor set-back during her recovery – a surgical complication that was picked up by Andrea’s concerns in her progress and sought us to seek further vet surgical input. FIDO hydro is located in Ballarat which meant we weren’t driving into a city centre to access high quality and specialised canine therapy. I am a medical practitioner and I have never questioned Andrea’s knowledge or most importantly, her agenda to prioritise my pet (who is unashamedly our fur-child). She was patient and insightful in gaining our (very stubborn) Beagles’ trust. Bailee is now functioning normally with full range of motion and strength and is back to her mischievous self which I truly don’t think would have happened without her tailored hydrotherapy program. The clinic is well set-up, easily accessible and impressively hygienic and clean for a highly frequented canine clinic.
