FIDO HYDRO is able to continue as Canine Hydrotherapy falls under essential services, as per Veterinary services.

During Lockdowns – Covid safety rules apply and our clinic operational procedures change to adhere to Victorian Government directives.

As always we completely respect clients who wish to reschedule their dogs appointments that are scheduled during this lock down period, especially for clients with compromised immunities & clients travelling from outside the Ballarat region.

  • We ask only ONE person please to attend appointments. Only one person will be allowed
  • Please always wear a mask and maintain 1.5 meter distance.
  • Please stay in reception at the gate and view your dog's treatment from there. No one will be allowed passed the gate.

If you prefer, you can return to your car and video of the treatment will be sent to your phone and you will be notified when to return to reception to collect your dog.

To prevent cross contamination we ask clients to please take off any personal collars/leads at the door. Staff will open/close the gate for your dog & then use FIDO HYDRO equipment.

If you are feeling unwell or have returned from one of the other identified CV hot spots, please make arrangements to reschedule your dog’s hydro appointment and please do not attend the clinic.

Clients are directed to scan in on entry, use the hand sanitiser at reception on entry & when leaving.

Our clients & patients safety & well-being is paramount! Anyone who is unable to wear a mask at all times, we kindy ask for you not to attend our clinic as per Victorian Government directives. Please refrain from eating food & drinking coffee within appointment times.

    Fido Hydro requires a complete referral form from your dog’s treating Veterinary and/or treating Specialist, prior to the commencement of a Hydrotherapy treatment program. This enables FIDO HYDRO to be informed of any limitations, restrictions and/or any special requirements and confirms that your dog is fit enough to be treated and does not have any conditions that may adversely affect the dog in the water. Please ask referring clinic to also send patient history & scans/x-rays as well.
