Services
We take it for granted that after major surgery, humans are referred for physical therapy to help restore normal body movement and function. We also use various forms of physical therapy to manage the pain and discomfort of conditions such as osteoarthritis and musculoskeletal injuries. So, it makes sense that when our animal companions experience similar trauma or suffer from debilitating degenerative diseases, we also support their recovery and quality of life through various forms of rehabilitation.
FIDO HYDRO is a specialised Animal Rehabilitation Centre that combines recommendations from treating veterinarians and specialists with the expertise of our professionally trained and qualified FIDO HYDRO team. We utilise advanced, state-of-the-art, expertly engineered rehabilitation equipment in a supportive, healthy environment.
FIDO HYDRO provides the vital rehabilitation component of referred patients’ recovery or preventative programs, delivering the highest quality care through evidence-based practices and incorporating multiple modalities and therapies. We also offer a referral service when patients or clients require additional specialist assistance (e.g., Nutritionists, Homeopaths, Acupuncture, Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Shockwave Therapy, Electrotherapy, Behavioural Therapy). This ensures effective treatment, safeguarding patient health and well-being for long-lasting, positive outcomes.
FIDO HYDRO values our patients and clients. We provide the healthcare, physiological, behavioural, emotional support human pet caregivers are looking for, to assist with their pet healthcare needs. We consider the full clinical history of our patients, patient home environments, gut health, diet & nutrition, and exercise reschemes. We continuously monitor and evaluate our patients, as they improve and change, making modality program adjustments, as required, identifying clinical questions/problems, that may need to be addressed. We promote regular check-ups, with treating Vets, for any testing, screening, reviews required, to prevent the onset or progression of chronic diseases.
