Our dog Ivy came to Fido Hydro as she was suffering from hip dysplasia and a worn cruciate ligament. As a very active 6yo Labrador, we were concerned that her conditioned seemed to have gotten considerably worse in a short amount of time.

On meeting Andrea, the care she showed for Ivy made us instantly feel comfortable with our decision to start hydrotherapy.

A short while after beginning hydro, Ivy had TPLO surgery to support her knee and cruciate ligament. Her recovery from this major operation was nothing short of amazing, and we wholeheartedly believe that this is due to her hydro treatment both prior and post operation. Ivy was able to maintain a significant amount of muscle mass and condition following her surgery, which was noted by a number of vets as impressive!

Post-surgery, once cleared by the vet, Ivy began two sessions of hydro per week, with Andrea monitoring her every step of the way. She is now stronger than ever and continues hydro once per week as maintenance. It keeps her strong, fit, and we truly believe has considerably helped with her arthritis and given her a lot more stability.
