  • Slow lead walking
  • Passive Range Of Motion exercises
  • Static weight shifts
  • Sit to stand
  • Cavaletti poles

What are The Applications

  • Improving Athletic Performance
These applications can be tailored to each dog’s individual needs and health status. We are not Physiotherapists, when required, we will refer you to a suitable physio.

What are The Benefits

  • Improved Mobility: Regular exercise helps maintain joint flexibility and muscle strength, making it easier for dogs to move around.
  • Pain Relief: Gentle, controlled movements can reduce pain and stiffness in dogs with arthritis or other musculoskeletal issues.
  • Weight Management: Exercise helps prevent obesity, which can exacerbate existing health problems and lead to new ones.
  • Enhanced Recovery: Post-surgery or injury, exercise therapy can accelerate recovery by promoting circulation and muscle development.
  • Mental Stimulation: Physical activity provides mental enrichment, reducing boredom and associated behavioral issues.
  • Bonding Time: Exercise sessions strengthen the bond between you and your dog, enhancing trust and cooperation.
  • Overall Health: Regular physical activity contributes to a healthier cardiovascular system, improved digestion, and better overall well-being.

We'd love to hear from you

Fido Hydro requires a complete referral form from your dog’s treating Veterinary and/or treating Specialist, prior to the commencement of a Hydrotherapy treatment program. This enables FIDO HYDRO to be informed of any limitations, restrictions and/or any special requirements and confirms that your dog is fit enough to be treated and does not have any conditions that may adversely affect the dog in the water. Please ask referring clinic to also send patient history & scans/x-rays as well.
